Postcard “Czech Krumlov”
Postcard with architecture sketch inspired by our trip to Czech Krumlov – a fabulous place in the Czech Republic that is a UNESCO heritage site. The town has a rich history that dates back to the 13th century. The Český Krumlov Castle, which dominates the town, was constructed in the 13th century and expanded over the centuries.
The castle is the second-largest in the Czech Republic, after Prague Castle. It consists of various buildings and courtyards, including a Baroque theater, a unique revolving auditorium, and the Castle Museum.
The medieval old town of Český Krumlov is a maze of narrow, winding streets filled with charming Renaissance and Baroque buildings. The town square, Svornosti Square, is the center of activity and features colorful houses and a Marian column.
